About Caribe Cove Resort...

Caribe Cove Resort opened in September 2007 with 187, two & three bedroom villas. The property has an excellent location for the family vacationer, .5 mile off of State Route 192 in the Westside Development area of Kissimmee, Florida and 5 miles from the Disney “Maingate” entrance to Walt Disney World.

The Challenge...

The property has limited amenities which places it at a competitive disadvantage for market share. The property suffered by “missing” several opening dates due to construction delays and opened during the fourth quarter of 2007, the slowest travel season in Central Florida.

HPG Solution...

During 2008, HPG implemented an aggressive search marketing strategy. Working with an “e-commerce total solution”, Hospitality Performance Group assisted the property by reworking the non-producing website from the initial design to make it more visually appealing, consumer friendly, and supported by excellent “back end” connectivity.

The property was aggressively positioned to increase visibility on the World Wide Web with the correct pricing strategies and rate parity across all channels.

Real Results...

The initiatives put in place during first quarter excellent ROI during the year. As consumers "found" the property through the web, the property ramped up as anticipated and became a formidable competitor in the market. During the first quarter of 2009, Caribe Cove Resort is exceeding all budgeted expectations and the overall market by a wide margin. Caribe Cove Resort has exceeded the market for January (24.5%), February (25.9%) and March (19.9%). The property is pacing well ahead of the market for the second quarter 2009.
